UW students arrested protesting ethics of Sodexo

Twenty-five students at the University of Washington were arrested Wednesday during a sit-in protesting the ethics of Sodexo, the Seattle Times is reporting.

The company, which runs many of the campus dining options both at UW and Western, has been accused of violating workers’ rights in the past, although Sodexo officials deny those allegations.

Bellingham man stabbed after fight in downtown Bellingham

A 26-year-old Bellingham man was stabbed in the leg, outside of the Horseshoe Cafe around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, May 7. The victim was found bleeding heavily when Bellingham Police arrived on the scene shortly after receiving a call about an assault on the 100 block of Holly Street. (more…)

Authorities ID pilot found near plane crash
