Faculty Senate looks at student jobs and faculty ethics

At the last meeting of fall quarter on Nov. 21, faculty senate members discussed issues concerning both students and faculty. Fifty distinguished first year students are looking for work on campus. These students were not eligible for the work study program and were chosen for their academic standing to gain experience. This is a pilot program for this school year and funded by the university. Miller Hall complete, dedication set

The sounds of hammers knocking, the deep hum of heavy equipment and the shouts of workmen no longer echo through Miller Hall. The $51.5 million renovations are now complete and the Miller Hall renovation dedication ceremony in the hall’s collaborative space, formerly Miller’s courtyard, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 2 makes it official.
