(10/15) WWU libero reaches milestone in WOU win.

Volleyball crushed Western Oregon Thursday night in three sets.

Western libero Allison Gotz reached the 1,500 dig mark for her carrier, finishing the match with 25 digs. Gotz was just the second person to reach 1,500 digs.

The first person was Courtney Schneider, who reached the milestone during the time when college volleyball played games to 30 points, not 25 like it is today.

WWU Volleyball on easy road trip this week.

After a HUGE win Saturday over rivals SPU, the Viking Volleyball team is on the road this week against Western Oregon and St. Martins, two of the worst teams in the GNAC.

The Vikings are now tied with SPU for first place.

Gaining first place is crucial for the Vikings because if they finish the season on top, they will get the automatic bid to the regional tournament.
